THE GLOBAL GOALS
For Sustainable Development
The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all". The SDGs were set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.
I.C.T.A. is committed to engaging and working with communities to achieve a sustainable lifestyle and enabling persons to gain skills that will make them sustainable in their living. These projects are usually intergenerational and incorporate the SDG's.
Objective 1
To create a safe and secure environment for persons under oncology treatment from inception or in remission and to use art and other therapies as a tool for healing.
Objective 2
To enable geriatrics to have a forum that engages them to foster memory and dexterity alertness and to create sustainable programs that are relevant to youth and students with learning difficulties.
Objective 3
To enable young persons with Autism or Down Syndrome to gain a holistic approach to education and learning through the art, and afford them the opportunity to showcase their work in a Public environment.
